New Dean Announced for Embry-Riddle

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is set to welcome a new dean to lead its College of Engineering at the Prescott campus.
University officials say Dr. Jeffrey Miller will step into the role beginning next June.
Miller brings extensive experience in engineering education, academic leadership, and program expansion.
He most recently served as dean at Southern Utah University, where he helped boost enrollment by more than 1,700 students and expanded academic programs from 45 to 76.
Before that, he was a professor and department chair in information technology at the University of Southern California.
Embry-Riddle says Miller’s background in both engineering and IT will help strengthen programs and drive innovation in Prescott.
The university is known for its strong engineering and aviation curriculums and says it looks forward to Miller’s leadership.
