While many in the Tri-City area were celebrating on New Year’s Eve, several police officers, sheriff’s deputies, and state troopers had an active night on our local roadways. They pulled over 142 vehicles during a major DUI enforcement detail.
Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Paul Wick tells The News:
Wick says on the bright side, officers encountered 15 vehicles that had designated drivers.
