The City of Prescott is looking to make some changes to its policy when it comes to distributing funds to special events.
During Wednesday’s Tourism Advisory Committee meeting, Deputy City Manager Michael Morris pointed out:
Those organizations could receive funding from the city equivalent to half of the taxes generated from the event, with a cap of $80,000.
The proposal would have to go to the Prescott City Council for its consideration.
