Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority crews quickly knocked down a structure fire early Wednesday morning in the Granville subdivision of Prescott Valley.
Firefighters responded around 5:30 a.m. to reports of a house fire near Lemon Tree Drive and Ardmore Avenue. They arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the home.
Thanks to working smoke alarms, the occupant was able to evacuate safely and call 911. The early alert helped crews contain the fire to the home’s contents, preventing further damage.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
