The Yavapai College softball team dropped game one with South Mountain 10–2, then won game two 5–1. Daisy Smith was the winning pitcher in the second game with six strikeouts.
Alumni update time. Former Prescott basketball player Uriah Tenette registered 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists in New Mexico’s 91–90 loss to Boise State last Saturday. So far this season, “Tenacious T” is averaging 11-point-3 points per game, 68 rebounds, 54 assists, and 37 steals.
