Another Prescott athlete will continue playing in college. Travis Gates of the baseball team signed with Kansas Wesleyan University. Last year, Gates was an All–Grand Canyon Region honorable mention.
Alumni update time. Former Yavapai College basketball player Nadir Myers put up a season-high 35 points last Saturday in Keiser University’s 95–90 loss to Coastal Georgia. For the season, Myers is averaging 12.5 points per game.
