A new rainwater harvesting project is underway in Prescott Valley. In an effort to help stormwater soak into the ground naturally, the town is installing a system designed to capture rainwater from building rooftops to send to underground infiltration galleries. The new system is being installed next to the Prescott Valley Police Department and Prescott Valley Public Library.
Town officials say the project aims to benefit both the community and the environment.
