It was a full day of baseball at Prescott High School Saturday. Mohave came to town for not one, but two games. Instead of rolling out the welcome mat, the Badgers spent the afternoon walloping the Thunderbirds from one end of the field to the other.
Game one ended with a 20–1 Prescott victory. Both William Horn and Travis Gates had three RBIs and three runs scored. Tyler Blanchard, Kaden Lampe, Alex Lough, Nick Martin, and Easton Shy all had two RBIs apiece. Lampe was also the winning pitcher with five strikeouts.
Game two was another blowout, with Prescott winning 17–1. Horn drove in four runs. Blanchard homered and drove in two runs. Dakota Schmidt, Stelino Gousis, and Shy all had two RBIs. Horn was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts. Mohave only had two hits on the day.
The Badgers are now 6–3 on the season.
