After an up and down time at the Cool Nights Tournament in Glendale last week, the Bradshaw Mountain softball team got back on track Tuesday in Cottonwood. The Lady Bears were there to face Mingus. Bradshaw put up nine runs in the first three innings, and had another offensive outburst in the sixth inning. That resulted in a 16–5 victory over the Lady Marauders. Alexa Corey was the winning pitcher, striking out ten. She also drove in a run. Raquel Astorga went 3-for-4 with four RBIs. Jaslene Valentine went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Laila Silva went 3-for-4 with four runs scored and an RBI. Sarah Sullivan scored two runs. Bailey Munday, Skye Oberan, and Mia Columbo each had an RBI.
Bradshaw Mountain is 4–2–1 on the season. They will host Mingus tomorrow to conclude the home-and-home series.
