Softball: Embry-Riddle split their four-game series with Benedictine Mesa. Leah Salas had a home run and four RBIs in the series. Prescott lost to Poston Butte 8-6 and derailed St. John’s 14-4. Chino Valley lost to Kingman 10-0 and romped over Chinle 13-4. Kinsey Murphy drove in four runs in the Chinle game.
Alumni update time. Former Prescott basketball player Uriah Tenette recorded 15 points, six assists, and two steals in the New Mexico men’s basketball team’s 86-61 pounding of George Washington in the NIT last night. “Tenacious T” also set the program’s single-season record for steals by a freshman.
