Local scoreboard from yesterday, in baseball, Yavapai College swept the Ottawa JV 13–10 and 27–0. Garison Jones had a home run and eight RBIs on the day. Prescott bested Coconino 4–2 at Chase Field. Matt Hepperle got the win, striking out nine, and also drove in two runs. Chino Valley got shut out by River Valley 5–0.
Softball, Yavapai College lost to Paradise Valley 11–7 in game one, then crushed the Lady Pumas in the second game 16–6. Sofia Romero went 3-for-5 with four RBIs in game two. Chino Valley fell to River Valley 10–0.
Boys volleyball, Prescott swept Lee Williams 3–0. Seth Peterson and Eli Buettner both put up eight kills.
Tennis, for the boys, Bradshaw Mountain lost to North Canyon 5–4. Girls, Bradshaw Mountain smoked North Canyon 8–1.
