A rainy start to the work week for Yavapai County.
According to the County Flood Control District, Prescott Heights received 0.55 inches of rain Monday. Thumb Butte and White Spar Campground both got 0.47 inches. Lynx Lake had 0.43 inches. Downtown Prescott and Goldwater Lake both received 0.39 inches. Haisley Homestead got 0.35 inches. Watson Lake and Pine Ridge Marketplace both received 0.31 inches. Outer Loop Road and Big Bug Mesa both got 0.28 inches. Fain Lake and Yarnell both had under a quarter-inch of rain. Willow Lake received 0.20 inches. Prescott Valley, Williamson Valley, and Sedona all got 0.16 inches. Chino Valley, Prescott Country Club, Camp Verde, and Black Canyon City all had 0.12 inches. Cordes Junction and Cottonwood both received 0.08 inches, and Mayer and Ash Fork both got 0.04 inches of rain.
No more rain is in the forecast for the Prescott area this week.
