Local scoreboard from weekend, Indoor football, the Northern Arizona Wranglers lost to the Arizona Rattlers 44-32. Ramone Atkins had three touchdown passes and a touchdown run.
In baseball, Yavapai College dropped three games to Arizona Western. Matt Peterson had four RBIs in the series.
Softball, Embry-Riddle split its four-game series with Park University. Claire Streeter fanned 14 en route to the 10-8 win in the third game of the series. Prescott got shutout by Crismon 8-0.
At the High Desert Golf Invitational, Chino Valley finished tenth. Jhett Richey shot eleven over par.
At the Mingus track and field invitational, the Bradshaw Mountain boys 4X100 and 4X400 relay teams both placed first, and Chino Valley’s Matt Sibole won the boys javelin.
Alumni update time. Former Prescott track and field athlete Jack Mason was named the Northeast Conference Field Athlete of the Week. Mason set a new school record for Wagner University in the long jump at the Rutgers Relays on April 11th.
