Some Prescott High School athletes have benefited from the latest round of scholarships handed out by the Yavapai County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse. Flag football’s Maggie Maneely, badminton’s Natalie Major, basketball’s Ashlyn Luedeman, and soccer’s Sophia Davidson were among 48 students around the county to receive scholarship money. The Mounted Sheriff’s Posse doled out $50,000 in scholarship money this year.
It’s a big sports day on the Team 1450 AM KNOT tomorrow. First, it’s a College Softball World Series double-header starting at 9 a.m. Then at 4:30 p.m., it’s the NBA playoffs between San Antonio and Oklahoma City.
