Yavapai County officials announced roadwork has begun on Williamson Valley Road and Cornville Road.
Construction on Williamson Valley Road will continue through August 5 and consists of milling and paving old asphalt, a final surface course of ACFC, new striping, concrete median paving, and incidental shoulder work. Work takes place Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Construction on Cornville Road will last until June 30 of this year and includes chip sealing, fog sealing, striping, and installation of rumble strips. Work takes place Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Yavapai County officials say one lane of traffic will remain open at all times for both projects, but motorists may encounter lane restrictions, lane shifts, reduced speeds, and flagging operations.
