An OG Embry-Riddle women’s basketball player has a new coaching gig. Jenna Knudson has been hired as an assistant coach and recruiting director for Northern Colorado University. She is carrying on a family tradition, as her father is a graduate of Northern Colorado, where he competed with the track and field team.
Knudson spent this past season as an assistant coach for the UofA women’s basketball team under her former coach at Embry-Riddle, Becky Burke. She has also done stints as an assistant at Drury University and Quincy University.
As a player, Knudson was part of the first recruiting class for the Embry-Riddle women’s basketball team. In her four years with the Lady Eagles, she was named to the All-Cal Pac Team three times and graduated as the program’s all-time career leader in steals with 261.
